Amazing Results from the 30-Day Sugar Reset
Ever feel like you were ahead of a trend? That’s what the 800+ Sweet Defeat community members who did the 30-Day Sugar Reset experienced in January. They were three weeks into the Reset when Jennifer Lopez (also known as JLo) announced that she was doing a 10-day no sugar, no carb challenge and got other celebrities, including her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez and Today show co-anchor Hoda Kotb, to join her.
But the 30-Day Sugar Reset participants had a secret weapon: Sweet Defeat lozenges, which are clinically proven to decrease sugar cravings and consumption. By using Sweet Defeat after meals and whenever they felt a craving, Resetters were able to stick to the rules of the 30-Day Sugar Reset.
That’s not to say completing the Reset was easy. Consuming less than 25 grams of sugar a day, some participants found, meant they experienced sugar withdrawal symptoms. When they posted in the Reset’s private Facebook group, though, they got support and suggestions from other community members.
When Adriana talked about her struggles, Kristina confessed that she had trouble, too, and explained how she used Sweet Defeat to help: “I carry the bottle in my purse in case I need one at work. But I mostly get my cravings in the evening. After dinner, I’ll use a Sweet Defeat. Brooke Alpert, M.S., R.D., C.D.N. supplied professional nutrition advice, giving ideas on how to include protein and healthy fats to keep meals satiating and what to do when people fell off the wagon.
Participants used the Reset guide, with its 30-day menu plan and 50+ recipes to plan out their meals. Those that wanted them also received daily tips via text and email to power them through the program.
When they reached the end of the 30 days, Resetters were so pleased with their results. More than 65% of participants lost weight, 43% had more energy, and 24% improved their sleep and their skin.Here’s what some of them said:
